I hope MS gets it together before it is time for me to buy a new computer. Can I ask what you do with your computers that you are so concerened with a couple of miliseconds here and there? Seriously. Actually with my applications that use a lot of computing power, I don't want the OS slowing things down more. I use ADT, Revit, RAM structure and STAAD. The modeling software like RAM and STAAD eat a lot of memory. You do know that more physical RAM is addressable by applications in Vista than in 32 bit WinXP Professional? Yes, I am aware of the fact that Vista allows such, it needs to because it's such a resource hog on it's own. |
