Better re-check your info, before you laugh. They DID sell a Dodge

What do you do, wash them after they arrive on the delivery truck?

Don't let em get to you D, we got cher back. If it's cars, and you say
it, I'm good with it

Heh. It was just too ripe not to pick, especially with his "handle". I'll
go back to silent receiving mode now.

You uppity Amity guys, all alike. Thank goodness the Amity girls knew
how to put out for us proletarians.

Not me. At Amity I drove around in a '55 Dodge Royal Lancer. It had a
hemi though.

I had a really snappy 1953 Aero-Willys. It had four cylinders, at least
one of which was working at any given time. I could barely make it up
Fountain Street.

Neither could the '55 Dodge Royal Lancer with a hemi.

Hey! I had one of those. It was a "Custom Royal Lancer". Mine was a
black/black/black convertible. Had the shift selector coming out of
the dash, and about half the weight of the car was the outrageous
chrome work on the front. It was a beaut. I don't remember for sure,
but I think the engine was called a super red ram rocket, or something
along those lines. It was a hemi, and hauled ass. It was a pretty
plush ride for those days.

Mine was also a "Custom Royal Lancer" but was a hardtop, not a convertible.
Looked like this, except for the color.
(it was cream top, dark blue hood and trunk and sky blue side panels)

My car was a lot uglier than yours!

And after rebuilding it for me, my father had it painted my mother's
favorite colors, "tangerine" on the bottom and "cream" on the top. It
looked like a creamsicle.

My first car was a Lime Green Volkswagon with a phony black box and a
big wind up key on the back deck, stock from the factory... Before
that I drove street bikes...

Sorry, my Willys was uglier. But it did get me to school and back, and
"other" things.

I've told this story here before. My wife, long before I met her, had
a beetle that had the fake Rolls Royce front end. One day she drove
into S.F. and it got stolen. She calls the cops, crying hysterically.
The two cops take the report and when she explained the car, one of
them grinned and asked what she was crying for!!!
