Saw one of these on a trailer yesterday...really great looking boat,
with a Honda outboard:

Oh oh...you're going to make the fraidy cats soil their knickers again.
...that boat has a LT.

Actually it's a dumpy looking boat. Just boring looking. I do have one
question. Thinking of changing the steering wheel. Do those stainless
wheels get burning hot if the sun shines on them?

This from a guy whose boat is a floating beer can?

We have a stainless wheel on the flybridge.

No problem.

Yes, our wheel on the lower helm is like that, a real work of art. I
believe the flybridge wheel was replaced by a previous owner for some
reason.

Harry spends all of his time boating in the bay and small creeks and
rivers, and then only on the very best of days, temperature between
82-88 degrees, less than 5 mph of wind, as long as he can boat on the
leeward side. I can remember him canceling trips due to wind speeds of
15 mph, the moon not being aligned with Mars, and a bad fortune cookie.

If you remember, he said he did most of his fishing 15 minutes from his
boating ramp, so he can make a mad dash back to his ramp, just in case
the water ripples a bit.
