Each PCT will be fitted with a "non-removable " FM receiver that will allow the power authorities to increase your air conditioning temperature setpoint or decrease your heater temperature setpoint to any value they chose. All your thermostats are belong to us. And you find this more reprehensible than say, telling your wife she has no choice but to carry her baby full term? Yes. Do you think your wife would rather have a say in what happens inside her body or the temperature of her thermostat. She and I discussed and we agreed. The high flow toilets still being manufactured in Canada. If the thermostat idiocy goes into law you will see a rise in on-line purchases from out of state retailers of non-big-brothered thermostats. American Taliban pointing at controlling thermostats as a problem? Figures. Do you understand the concepts of freedom and liberty? I broke the lid on one of my 'high volume' toilets. It cost as much to replace the lid as it would have cost to buy a whole new low volume toilet. Why - supply versus demand. 'Low volume' is an oxymoron for those toilets anyway. They always have to be flushed at least twice. -- John H "All decisions are the result of binary thinking." Get a Toto toilet. No need to. Mine work. First time, every time, except with a Pampers. -- John H You are not supposed to flush your diapers down the toilet, John. Ask wifey what to do with them after she changes you. |
