We still have people shaped like the back of a bus. You do know that we've seen pictures of you. :) Am I your current fantasy, captain? Not at all. Just saying. :) OK, but I'm now eliminating the momentary glitch by walking 90 minutes a day with 50 pounds on my back, along with leg & arm weights. If you need a late night fantasy, focus on JohnH.: http://tinyurl.com/2smbuj Oh - a tad touchy there Dougie. Tsk - no reason to get snippy just because they could put advertising on your sides and a destination sign on your forehead. So to speak. :) Actually, I've been 170 +/- 2 lbs since college. I hit 188 this past summer. That's in the process of being fixed. There is no way I will go up an inch in waste size. Can't happen. Not permissible. LOL!! I totally understand. I look like that proverbial bus myself, but I can't do a damn thing about it unless I limit myself to one small baby carrot in the morning, a spoon of cottage cheese at lunch and a cracker at night. Due to the meds I take for my arthritis condition, I can't get rid of the weight - my metabolism has slowed WAY down. As it is, I only take in about 1200 calories a day and still weigh 250. And I'm a pretty active type to boot - well, reasonably considering the fact that I find walking a problem sometimes. I still do a couple of miles a day and moderate strength stuff. Hey, I'm used to it now. :) Is the arthritis the reason for the interest in the bass guitar? Keep the hands flexible & moving? |
