Ban burning wood in fireplaces? What's next, banning cooking hamburgers on

Dodn't know totally sure or not, but from what I gather, Illinois just
passed an anti-smoking bill to ban smoking in all business as of
1-1-08

It's sure. Waitress told me when I was down your way (anywhere south
of the Chicago suburbs is Southern Illinois to me.)
Heard it on the news yesterday too.
Air gets nasty around here when people start lighting off their
fireplaces, especially if the wind is light. Inversion I guess.
Totally different than charcoal cooking a steak or chicken.
More like a house on fire, a house where dogs have been ****ing.
Leaves burning smell a lot better, but that's been against the law
around here for years.
Don't have a fireplace myself, and the only thing I'd care to have one
for is to roast marshmallows. My wife wants a phony fireplace.
So far I've put her off it by saying first we have to buy a phony cave
to put it in.
