I mean, aside from Wife #1? (That's a joke, fellas)
http://www.equipped.org/ Good site with all sorts of "survival" info, including a fairly long section on boating ditch bags, life rafts, personal signaling GPS devices, et cetera. |

No time to read the cluttered mess. But, if condoms, nylons & chocolate aren't on the list, it's almost worthless. |

I made sure my oldest carried a "go bag" when traveling, especially in Asia and Indonesia, Bali and a few other places where things can change quickly. In both cars we carry extra clothes and gear, enough for more than one person. My personal bag is a guitar case which lives around my neck whenever I leave the house (mini travel guitar). In there is all my prescriptions, some crackers and stuff, a Dean Markely acoustic pickup, and a mini Marshall amp ![]() |

You never know when you could end up behind enemy lines after you ditch. New Jersey, for example. |

Harry, I have flares and a distress flag on board, enough life jackets to cover anyone I might have onboard, including 5 children vests. I keep my vhs in good working conditon, and that is all I need. Since I only boat on an old dried up lake, I really don't need a ditch bag. I am curious was to why you would need one, or even be thinking about a ditch bag. Since you boat 15 minutes from your boat ramp, I would think a ditch bag would just take up way to much space on your small CC. |

The lesson I learned from "Castaway" is you should alway keep a lighter in your pocket. And don't forget "Wilson." |
