There are some "designers" ou there who started about 10 years ago,
went to every site on the net, copied their plans to cad and then paid
folks to be guinea pigs and submit pictures of finished untried boats
so they could go "international".. I really hate those guys, in the
beginning they were even set up in sections. My plans were on one
page, Roberts on another, Bateau (doing the same thing back then) on
another. Then after enough complaints, some of them at least changed
their sites so the boats were no grouped by the designers the plans
were stolen from... humprh....... not mentioning any names here....

Those dories were used fishing for cod, haddock etc all over the Maritimes
and Newfoundland.
