If she can lift the stern that high, she could lift it into the bars of a
Thule rack. Get a set that's wider than recommended for the car, so there's
less chance of missing the target when she drops the stern onto the ends of
the bars. After that, the loading process is almost the same.

But, take a look at www.cabelas.com for that invention you mentioned. I'll
bet they have it.
