When I had my Contenders, other than fuel usage, I was like you - I
didn't want to know the total operating cost.

If only because I couldn't justify the boats if I did know. :)

However, Mrs. Wave, being the practical Irish lady she is, knew it to
the penny.

My wife does not admit to knowing. Just got delivery of new fenders to
replace the 16 year old ones on the trailer that have developed cracks.
Most expensive problem at the moment is the fact the gas gage is reading
near empty after the weekend crabbing. And since it is a 67 gallon tank,
will cost more than the fenders.
