Better to be surprised on the low side than the other way around. I had a tranny done on my old Bertram 33 and it ran about $3500. That was a much easier job from a labor standpoint but the parts were very pricey. The manufacturer is suggesting that this one just needs new hydraulic seals. The expensive thing is getting it in and out. |
