Has any City's sports teams ever accomplished this?

Man, it's almost boring to be a Pats fan lately, except when you look

awesome, from the old regulars to the old foes, it's almost like
watching an all star game every time they take the field. Bruschi,
Moss, Harrison, Seau, and that kid, Brady.. What a time to be a Pats
fan.
Not as much of a fan of Baseball or Hockey, but I did grow up
following the Redsox, Patriots, and the Hartford Failers (er, Whalers)
as a kid so I do know pain. I had gotten to a point years ago for the
sox of not saying "maybe next year" but "maybe in my lifetime". Now I
am actually feeling pretty much spoiled.

New Haven. One year the Blades won the EHL title, Yale won the Ivy
League title, Hillhouse (my high school) won the New England basketball
tournament, and Greist Manufacturing sponsored the state champion teens'
baseball team. I was the second baseman on that team. :}

That was in the days when New Haven was still a major manufacturing
center for machines, machine tools, and armament. Lots of good jobs. No
more.- Hide quoted text -

Geeze Harry... That was not the question. Hell, my school teams have
been on top of the charts with a better championship record than the
frekin' Yankees, since the early 70's. My kids team lost one match
last year, first one since 1984!, When I was there we took the State 4
years straight, and we won't even start to talk about South Windsor
Hockey Our teams have swept many times and I would not have to go
back to 1916 when you played second base

However, the fly in the ointment are the Bruins who will suck until
time stops and the universe is cold. :)

Hey... you had your turn with Don Cherry & Bobby Orr.
Montreal is due for another Stanley Cup. It's been a long 14 years.

Heh, from my point of view, a 14 year drought is nuttin'
Remember, R Sox, Pats, Failers..

Yeah, me too. I like Jr. but damned if I can see him in a Hendrick
car.
Tony Stewart's good, my son (8) likes him. I like the old school guys
with balls! Carl Edwards is the real deal, too.
