It's the light playing with the aerosil (filler), woven glass, and
resin. Some angles it comes up clear, others somewhat translucent.
Actually built that one several years ago, before I "retired" ;)

It's either:

1. Creme from a boston creme pie.
2. boat caulk.
3. jelled cocaine.
4. pus accumulated from a lifetime of squeezing zits.

Speaking of caulk, here's one of my favorite SNL skits:

Especially when you are stitching with copper wire. Mrs Wave's Singer
is *not* going to get the job done.

The spelling is unique, for sure. Had you gone to a quality high school,
you would have known the word was spelled Pangaea. :}

Harry, you are *such* a good speller!

He is, but he is incorrect to think the only correct spelling is
Pangaea. Pangea is also the correct spelling for the massive continent.

Hey - Pangaea would be nothing without the Pan-African orogeny.

Then you must be familiar with the lost tribe of Fugawi. They can be
found by going out on a foggy day in Nantucket Sound and yelling:
"Where the Fugawi ?" .
