Eisboch I don't know. Why is a statistic important to a girl who doesn't want to carry a baby that was conceived in an act of violence? The 'morning after' pill seems designed for just such an eventuality. I think it should be part of any post-rape treatment. Good for you. John, that pill is pretty successful at doing its job, which is to kill a fetus. And yet, you think it should be part of any post-rape treatment. How do you resolve these apparently opposing concepts? Do you believe there is a "fetus" the morning after? No, but I *do* know that some women don't deal with the mess the very next day, for various reasons, at least one of which someone here will pounce on shortly, in a nauseatingly predictable fashion. Are these women who wait five or six months and *then* decide they were raped? Why do you find it necessary to make personal attacks with every post? Because you pounced as expected, which is nauseating. Either you're doing it intentionally to be annoying, or you're painfully stupid. There are other reasons a woman might not get treatment for a few days. If you're not aware of this....you know why. Now you're making your population *very* small. Maybe sex education in school should tell females to get treatment as soon as possible after the rape. Considering that a girl could have a father like you, it's no surprise that she might wait before dealing with the results of rape. |

Not a subject I like to get into a ****ing contest over like some of the entries in this group. Here's my view - one time only. It's pretty simple. If we can describe single cell micobes as "life" in the generic sense, it only logical to extend that definition of "life" to conception - the conceived "life" is human because the results are a human being. From a logic standpoint, it can't be any other way. Essentially, if you get caught, expect conseguences of your actions - take some responsibility for your actions - don't foist your inability to properly protect yourself on the unborn human. I reluctantly support choice in the case of rape, inceest or extreme physical/mental disability - that's a personal decision and I can't foist my opinion on anybody else in that matter. However, abortion as a function of birth control? No. And that's the end of this discussion. :) |

And then the atheist works to convince others that what he didn't believe existed and now believes doesn't exist, doesn't exist and should be shunned. Life is rough. |

How about your ugly habit of whining about off topic posts, and within minutes, posting your own off topic messages as you see fit? I don't recall your definition of 'sot'. Did you provide one, using the same criteria you desire for 'socialism'? " I whine about your political trolls which are well known to cause conflict. Live with it, as you seem not to have the courage to test your mettle in a political forum. I will assume that a dictionary definition of socialism should do for you. The next time somebody uses the word, and you ask for the definition, I'll be sure to respond with, "You have a dictionary. Use it." You forgot to look up "sot". Except in your mind, I've not imbibed alcoholic beverages for almost 20 years now. So, I'm guessing you've made up your own definition. And, that's OK! :) Well, then there must be some other explanation for some of your childish messages. See your doctor. |
