Damn, did you see what happens when you put one of the heavy ass Yamaha on the back of a LT boat. Forget boats, you need to wear a survival suit if you have a LT Parker and a Yammi. I'm wondering if he ever started the Yamaha. If he did, it was well after the rearward motion began. |

You might be correct, but I think Etec has a lot more loss by fudging the video, then they can by showing the video. Is your new boat one of those wet LT models? |

This is it, except that mine will have a Yamaha 150 on the back. Oh, and I ordered a red bikini for the babe. |

I noticed that myself I saw the Yama based boat lurch forward, right from the start for a second so I know at least he engaged. Almost like he did not floor it, or the Yamaha just does not deliver the torque.. |

They really should have run the test several times to make sure each was applying throttle at the same rate. |

It certainly is an important test for boaters who hook up stern to stern with another boat and play tug-a-war. You better be wearing a neck brace and seatbelt when you firewall that 150 on your new boat. :} Make sure you get properly propped. That engine should turn 6000 rpms when level with the water and with two or three guys and a full load of fuel aboard. Mine does. You will have a different prop, but it still should produce 6000 rpms or damned close to it. |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, and wondering if I'll have to do that when I get my boat. Did you, and if so was it hard finding an E-TEC to tie up to? --Vic |

The cop was idling out of the marina. I thought his engine was noisy. |
