I asked that same question and if you look at the video, the Yamaha
moves forward.

It was a fair test in terms of how it was done.

It wasn't a fair test because that Yamaha is one weak assed motor with
no low end torque.


Just for the fun of it, I'd like to see what the 150 etc would score
up against a 140 hp mercruiser i/o (3.0 GM)

Not saying the GM would do favour, but it would be "interesting"

I'd volunteer my Chris Craft for the test if I were closer to the
subjects at hand. and I don't think mine would do much sinking , it
has a fairly tall transom.
