Jimh... you watching the documentary on the Paris Island Boot
camp on PBS. It started at 2100 ADT here.

It is not being aired by either PBS channel here.

Thanks for heads up Don. I will keep my eyes open for it with
future broadcasts here.

Our cable military channel has had several shows on the USMC boot
camp. I am also about to read James Woulfe's book "Into the
Crusible".

We received another letter from our son today. He remains
upbeat and is looking forward to seeing us on Family Day (11-8)
and graduation (11-9) then chilling at home for atleast 10 days.
He volunteered for recruiting assistance during his leave which
will keep him at home another 2 weeks.

He cannot wait for a perch fry upon his return!

Thanks for keeping my recruit in mind Don!

BTW: My son (19 years old) is actually loving boot camp and has
done well in all PT exercises, including Pugil Sticks. I would
bet that he could knock out a couple of the older confrontational
aholes here within a minute, including some non boaters who hide
behind silly handles. Although it might take a bit longer, I would
guess my daughter could do the same. ;-)
It does sound like you have provided your children with an
excellent value system.

Yes I have. They both know how to take care of themselves and there
is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

You didn't teach that to your kids? Perhaps yours are the ones
everyone picks on and beats up on for their lunch money. Like
father, like son. Eh?

So you taught both of your kids to knock out older people?

Of course, especially the older confrontational
aholes.................like you Reggie.

Did I say something negative about your boat, or your boating
preferences? I didn't even disagree with all of your negative
statements, I was just asking why your thought all boats smelled of dry
rot, mildew and unpleasant odors from the head.

I would think if I made derogatory comments about your boat or boating
lifestyle you might think that was conformational, so I didn't make any
judgmental or conformational comments.

There's no reason to respond to every post you don't like.

You are correct, but it did seem do be a low blow.
