To quote Elwood P. Dowd, ""Oh so smart, or oh so pleasant. Well for
years I was smart and I recommend pleasant."

My main objective was to relax and try to finish up Michener's book on
South Africa.

"The Covenant"? Good book. Have you read "The Source" yet?

Life with an imaginary boat is mega cool and from what I have read in
rec.boats, much cheaper than the real thing.

ROTFL!!

Beat me to it...

I have read Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean and maybe some others, who knows.

I always have to spend a few weeks after reading Michener researching
the characters trying to figure out who is real and who are composites.

My wife hates Michener because as soon as she gets into a character
and/or plot he moves onto the next one.

I don't like everything he's done - he sometimes gets a little carried
away with the historical research and the plot/characters get buried
in minutia.

"The Covenant" is pretty good though.
