At the moment, there is no visible wind here, the air temp is almost 60,
and if I can find a package of squid, I'm going feeeshing, except some forecasters are predicting 15 knot winds out of the north later with two to three footers, and others are predicting only two footers out of the north, and just a few miles north of here, at the Thomas Point light, the wind is already blowing 13-15 knots, and one forecaster is saying the winds will subside. The easy part: if I go out, head north to northeast now and "surf" back later. But since the damned forecasters are rarely right about anything, the wind and waves could be a lot more significant than predicted or...less. I wish our guv'mint spent more on providing useful information and a whole lot less on military misadventures. |
