It was delivered in that condition. :)

Sure was...only dirt I could find to scrub was on the comfy padded seat.
I hosed it all down after last weeks run in the salt water of our North West
Arm.
Guess I'll buy a pair of 'ear muffs' to flush the motor after each salt
water outing. I'm surrounded by the sea but it's a half hour drive to any
worthwhile lakes.

You ran it in salt water a week ago and didn't flush it? You might want
to get on that right away if it's not too late.

Did last weeks flush in a large tub of water.
I'd better get the muffs though and do it in the street...last week I did it
right outside my neighbours window at supper time. (houses 15' apart)

Don't skimp on the muffs. Get the type that sends water to both sides.
For a few dollars more it's worth the added insurance.

Is a heat gun the best way to remove Tom's Connecticut numbers?

You could just hang a stick of dynamite on each side...

Everyting about ETEC is special.

From their superior design, superior efficiency, superior emissions
and the fact that superior people who appreciate high technology buy
them.
