Go down the page of video selections to "Final Heat, Silverdale" (or
similar title) and watch a 19 year old female driver kick some butt!
The races are more competitive this year because the ULHRA passed a
rule that the blown boats can't run in the inside lane. The Silverdale
race is a good example of the resulting changes, the naturally
aspirated boat leaps ahead in the turns and the supercharged boat
overtakes in the straight stretches.
