I was just about to put a bunch of cooked chickpeas in the blender and make
hummus, when I noticed for the first time that the transom on this
Kitchenaid blender is too low. Now, I'm worried. I wish I'd know more before

We had a similar problem with a baking pan my wife purchased............low
transom. We have suffered through it though.

We had a similar problem with a baking pan my wife purchased............low
transom. We have suffered through it though.

Were you battered from one side of the pan to the other?

You know, I'm really worried about getting my feet wet in the new boat.
It's in the mid-90's here, and hell, the water temp in the Bay is in the
80's. Add a few potatoes and carrots, and you could have "Wet Foot Soup.

You do realize that there are certain people, like me for instance,
who are saving all these transom posts for the inevitable day when you
post something negative about low transoms.

You just know it's going to happen. :)

whose "experience" consists only of piddling around on little lakes, then
you have no business heading out into "big" waters without encasing your
boat and yourself in foam, and that boat better have gunnels six feet

Hey, I see Ranger bass boats (not Ranger bay boats) out on Chesapeake Bay
and when I lived in Florida, out in the Atlantic Ocean. Those guys I
worry about.
