What are the steps required to paint the outside/inside (but not the
bottom) of a 10ft Alumacraft? What kind of paint should I buy? Are you supposed to sand off the 'drab olive' paint before you start painting? What's the best way to sand it off? |

Leave the paint on, clean it up and lightly sand it with fine paper. For paint I would think just about any good quality marine paint with flex aditive would work. this looks like a good link: http://www.finishing.com/107/12.shtml supplier: http://www.pettitpaint.com/catalog_b...asp?ictNbr=160 and another: http://www.ronjoseph.com/Q&A/B2001_p...g_aluminum.htm try searching the WEB - lots of info! |
