IVECO diesels will no longer be marketed under that trade name in the
US. The corporation will now be known as FIAT Powertrain. Somehow, I like the name "IVECO" more than "FIAT". Maybe I hung around cars for too many years. :-) |

I hope buyers have a good selection of tools on board. Lots of oil, too.

I wonder what will happen if FIAT decides to do what they did to Allis Chalmers back in the 80's. Not just shut down, but pull out and head back to Italy. left many dealers high and dry. no parts backing etc. |
