Harry,
I normally put 75-125 hrs a year on a boat, how do you do that in 4 to 5
years? I hope you keep that engine fogged during the summer or you
might have problems with rust developing from lack of use.

That boat is underpowered with a single 225.

Yeah, so. I have another boat with 600 hours on the engine. I don't use
this boat much, so I'm selling it. It looks damned close to brand new,
and the replacement cost is close to $80,000. You could buy it for less
than my asking price, trade in the Yamaha for an etec, and have a damned
nice fishing boat with an enclosed electric toilet AND other niceties
Mrs. SW would like.

Perhaps for your overuse of petrol, but not for mine. Boat cruises
wonderfully at 25-30 mph, burning 9-11 gph with a boatload of folks
aboard. She'll run 39+++ mph at WOT, but then you'd be burning close to
20 gph. No thanks.
