Default Value of 30 year old outboard

That's a tough question. With 4 stroke engine becoming more popular and
threat to not permitting 2 stroke engines in some locations and this bound
to spread, so it's real value is somewhat reduced. It also depends on who
rebuilt it, a factory trained mechanic or a new mechanic? Were factory
parts used or aftermarket? What's it's physical appearance? Has it been
used in sal****er? The questions go on and on. A couple of ways to get an
idea is to see what they are selling for on ebay and go to the Antique
Outboard Motor Club site www.aomci.org.

Unfortunately the demand is for high horsepower engines at this time.
