If I want to buy a boat to drag down the road without benefit of a trailer, it will be Triumph. Funny how they have 6-7 "test" videos, and not one of the tests involves actual use of the boat in the water...... Every play Whiffle ball? One of those plastic baseball and bat combos? Take a close look a a Roplene boat and draw your own conclusions. I think it's a great way to build a cheap sailing dinghy, etc....but I'm not yet sold on the concept for full size boats. |

They have a ton of problems with warping in heat and they look like **** after a year (the pick up scratchs very easy, just look at the bat after it hits the plastic ball). The only plus I know of is they are supposed to be cheap. |
