Gotta say, I love fishin'. Suck at it but I love it. My friends take
me out so they can catch my limit and keep more fish on the boat. Of
course, they all think I can't fillet either so I get to stand there
with the waterhose until they finish and take home a bag of fish
It's kind of funny really, stated as joke. My buds were teasing me one
day blackfishin' so hard about my skills they assumed I could not
fillet either so they told me to stand down, they would clean the
fish. That was a couple of years ago, I don't even bring my fillet
knife with me anymore when I go out with them and sometimes I
do actually find a stupid fish or two. On a serious note, the Capt put
me on tons of fish, caught a couple of pan fish, couple of small bass,
a pike/pickerel, don't really remember the difference, and had a
decent bass on too but pointed my rod at it and of course lost it
before T could get his hand on the line to save my butt. In between I
missed a lot of strikes, only my second trip this year so I do feel a
little rusty, sure I will do better next time, but still all in all, I
love fishin' just suck at it. Poor Tom, I could see it was hurting him
to see someone miss soooo many fish:0 Thanks Tom, had a great day on
the water, very excited about the new lake within range for me, I
think I will be there a lot. The trip was Webster Lake in Mass. for
anyone interested.
