Default DIY Sites - Post em if ya got em.

I'm looking for some good DIY sites.

I've been trying to find a boating site similar to a BMW site, www.bmwtips.com.

Currently I'm working on a Volvo-Penta 280 stern drive and looking for
some tips to make things a little easier. I'm using a clymers manual
which is great, but it does discuss technique to much. Basically is
says "remove this" but when I run into issues removing something it
would help if I could find tips on getting something removed.

As soon as the rain lets up I'm going to try to remove the steering
collar fastener which I've been having issues with. I don't know if I
need a tool to spin it out or if it should just slide out, but it's in
there pretty solid. I removed the hex bolts and that's about as far
as I could make it. I'm sure there is just a simple trick to it.

Also - sites for parts would be great as well. I'd prefer any site
with parts that will work, it doesn't have to be an overpriced marine
supply site. I'd rather buy heavy duty lifter springs than pay triple
for a heavy duty spring relabeled as marine when it's the same part.
I know not all parts are the same, but most are just heavier duty.
