Tom, being one of inginuity, experience, and challenge, I'm suprised
you didn't devise something like this.

If THEY can, YOU can too!

That's what we need in this world...more resourceful people.
Sure makes that 'merican infatuation with 'gotta have more power' look
silly.

Have you folks been watching the America's Cup at all? Great race! It's now
tied 2-2, New Zealand and Switzerland.

Maybe this will help: http://www.versus.com/americascup

Here, it's on cable channel 241, which is probably meaningless up there.

So I'm rolling down the highway with the Ranger in tow cruising along
at 60. Passed an on ramp as I was being passed by a 18 wheeler. Lady
comes zooming down the on ramp yakking on the cell phone (hand held)
not paying attention until she sees me, then instead of slowing down
to enter traffic, she speeds up, cuts right in front of me, clips the
front of the truck. I jack on the brakes - trailer brakes locked up
with the trailer bunny hopping which pushed me over into the 18
wheeler - SCREECH!!

End result, truck totaled, driver's side squished - right front/left
front pushed to the wheels and the bed damn near sheared off.

Oh well - it was a nice truck.

So, this being Mrs. Wave's turn to select a new vehicle, she did.

This wasn't in SC was it? We just got them dang cell phones down here
about two years ago... people ain't got used to driving with 'em yet.

Seriously, glad you didn't get hurt, and that the boat came through
unscathed. I'm betting you get used to that fancy truck... you're
probably smiling on the inside when you're driving it.

What is it... a King Ranch? Harley Edition? C'mon... pictures!

Hey, the weekend of July 14th some friends and and my wife and I are
hauling our boats down to Moncks Corner. We'll put in on the river
just below Lake Moultrie on Friday, then go down the river to
Charleston Harbor. Spend two nights at Patriot's Point, and go back
up the river on Sunday, pull them out, and haul them back home. It's
the first time we've made the trip, but the others have done it a few
times. Should be about four boats and 6-8 couples. Should be fun!

Holler at me the next time you're down this way.

Will do - we're heading down on the 15th of July for ten days. I'm
heading out on the 19th with a guide on Lake Murray for a day of
striper fishing with my son and one of his classmates.

You up for lunch? Or maybe a ride around the lake?

I'll buy the gas.
