Ah well - end of an era...
So I'm rolling down the highway with the Ranger in tow cruising along
at 60. Passed an on ramp as I was being passed by a 18 wheeler. Lady comes zooming down the on ramp yakking on the cell phone (hand held) not paying attention until she sees me, then instead of slowing down to enter traffic, she speeds up, cuts right in front of me, clips the front of the truck. I jack on the brakes - trailer brakes locked up with the trailer bunny hopping which pushed me over into the 18 wheeler - SCREECH!! End result, truck totaled, driver's side squished - right front/left front pushed to the wheels and the bed damn near sheared off. Oh well - it was a nice truck. So, this being Mrs. Wave's turn to select a new vehicle, she did. A luxury pickup. Loaded with the same stuff in her Town Car - leather seats, seat warmers, moon roof, extended cab, super duper stereo, full power everything, DVD player of all things - this ain't no pickup truck - it's a freakin' luxury car masquerading as a pickup truck. ~~sigh~~ I've been turned into a pansy. |

Never mind that...what happened to the Ranger? I take it you are unharmed, which is what is important. |

OK...let me get this straight: You are the victim of an assassination attempt, but you mention nothing of what will happen to the crack whore who caused all this. How far does she live from the water? And, youse need some out of town help? |

Man that sucks. Hand held cell phones have been a pet peeve of mine forever.
I've always had speaker phone/hands free ability from my very 1st cell phone in '89. I'm glad to hear that you're OK. How about the boat? --Mike "Short Wave Sportfishing" wrote in message ... Glad to hear you're OK. Everything else is secondary. Did you check out the "carbon footprint" of your new ride? (Just kidding!) |

How did the boat come through the adventure? I've been turned into a pansy. Can't you sue for emotional stress? From now on, we should refer to SW Tom as: CandyAss Tom. His nick should match his truck. :} |
