YAMAHA = Yet Another Mechanical Atrocity Happens Again.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, It'll be interesting to see the specs. I wonder if it
is derived from a car engine.

Not likely I would think.

Probably a 300 on steroids.

At the moment, Yamaha does not offer any V8 four cycle outboard.

Yeah - I just looked at the specs. 60 degree block, DOHC, 32 valves -
sounds like a car engine design.

Overkill though.

Sounds suspiciously like the old Taurus SHO V-6. They would never put out
350 though. They were only 3 liters.

Yeah - it does.

Didn't Yamaha make an engine for a auto company at one time?

It's just what the doctor ordered for those big 35+ foot walkarounds.

Grady White has performance bulletins on their website for the F350's.

Compare the 360 Express with *triple* F250's vs. *twin* F350's. Performance
is near identical, but it will cost you about $12-15k less up front for the
twin engine setup plus another $1000/year in maintanence savings.
