Perhaps you are not familiar with his record here, in which he posted with something like 50 different aliases, and like the others with nothing to contribute, came by (and still comes by) only to drop off fresh turds. In other words, he didn't agree with everything Harry said. Nor did he like Harry's constant name-calling. I keep waiting for Tom to drop in and say something to Harry about that. But, maybe some form of immunity exists for those who can't control themselves. I gave up John. If only because of things like the above. You, Harry, Don, Dan, Dingle, Berry and all the rest just can't stop - it's in your blood - it will never end because nobody has the discipline to just let it go and get on with things. In a lot of ways, Chuck is right - the group has gone to hell in a hand basket. I've tried to keep things light, break up the little spit fests and shoe peeing contests with a little humor, fool around a little, but you and the usual suspects are like addicts - you have no wish to reform or even try. Unfortunate. You give up too soon. |

Finally, it's about time someone set the record straight and exposed the real trolls and agitators. |

To show that I am a law abidin' peace loving man, I have a little 'good news story' re USS Wasp visit. Local paper reports that 20 crew members from the USS Wasp volunteered to do landscaping work on Dead Man's Island where about 160 American prisoners from the war of 1812 are buried. Last month a small contigent of Americam service men held a memorial there and I suspect it will now be a yearly function. Deadman's Island is just below the Armdale Yacht Club on Melville Island where the old military prison was located. http://marinas.com/view/marina/9055 |

That's about a 2.5 hour drive from here. We had a nice trip down early May to see my sister and we continued on to the breeders to get our Springer Spaniel 's hair cut. Now Rosey's Cove??? I'll have to dig out my provincial atlas to see where that is. |

BTW If you're anywhere near Halifax from July 01-08, I'd recommend catching
a performance of the Tattoo. Wife and I have been invited to the July1 opening night performance in my brother-in-laws 'skybox'. http://www.nstattoo.ca/site/index.php |

I wonder what picture he sees in his head when he finds out his ship's going to the Mediterranean. "Oh boy - Mexico! Absolutely true story. I'm in the Post Office and talking Red Sox with the Post Master. In walks this well dressed guy and asks where Woodstock, CT is. Now on his way into town (and I know this because I saw him drive into the parking lot) there are twelve signs saying something about Woodstock. For instance, right at the Putnam/Woodstock town line there is a HUGE sign waying welcome to Woodstock. He had to pass Woodstock Plaza - another big sign. He had to drive past the Woodstock Fair Grounds which you can't miss. The huge Woodstock Community Bulletin Board which posts things like retirements, homecomings for troops, town events, etc., named oddly enough, the Woodstock Community BB, Woodstock Commons. And as he pulls into the PO parking lot, there is a huge sign that says USPS Woodstock, CT, S. Woodstock annex. Now get this. He's looking for NEPS (a local handicapped/rehab place that does work with the more challenged of lifes's inhabitants) in which the S. Woodstock PO is located - another big sign right next to the car. Here's the funny part. The Post Master looks at me, I looked at him with this "WTF?" look and the Post Master says "I have no idea". So the guy thanks him, turns and walks out, gets in his car and leaves!! Abut two minutes later, he pulls back in, gets out, slams the car door shut and stomps into NEPS. :) Canadian? Hey, excuse the interruption, but...your pictures 'over there' were great! You must have had a blast. Where were you flying? I flew out of Buchanan Field, Concord. We flew on the back side of Mt. Diablo. The Sacramento Delta to the North, SF Bay to the West, the mountain to the south and Los Vaqueros Reservoir to the east. OK. I though it may have been the Long Beach area with all the tanks, but I couldn't spot anything familiar. Now I know why! We did a some of the flying over the old Port Chicago Weapons Station. |
