Cruises are always fun. Cruises are always fun. That is a matter of opinion. Cruises suck! You've obviously not been on a Disney Cruise! Disney Cruise sounds wven worse with all the kids aboard. Wife and I like to stay in a town longer than 6 hour stop of a cruise. We stopped in Grand Cayman on a 16 day Panama Canal cruise. Had a hard time to get her off the beach and on to the last tender. Disney folks do well at keeping the kids entertained, and there are 'adult only' swimming pools, snack bars, etc. on the ship. The kids don't get in the way much. We just get bored of the ship side stuff. We have no problem going to an area and spending a month. If we like the town, stay longer, of not, leave early. Have friends that love to cruise. One couple has done like 28 cruises. Gives me nightmares, hte thought of that. |

Or cruising the Greek Isles, which we were fortunate enough to do. But to take a cruise for the sake of being on a cruise ship? B-o-r-i-n-g. And taking a cruise on a ship full of someone else's little rug rats? No thanks. |

Of course, the purpose of your cruise wouldn't be to spend time with the kids and grandkids! Take your kids and grandkids on a cruise. Maybe the nine year-old will get a charge out of the Greek isles! |
