Yawn. Last I knew, there were about seven "generally accepted" legal accounting practices. Within the limits imposed by law, businesses routinely adopt that one that best serves the interest of the business .... often changing from reporting period to reporting period as situations and markets change. Nothing wrong or illegal about doing that ... it's prudent and responsible to do so in the best interests of the stockholders. To do otherwise may land you in jail, especially now-a-days. Eisboch |
