Interesting.

This is boat is pretty upscale. Not exactly the sort of thing one
would expect to see being hawked by the folks who package toilet paper
in 96-roll units.

Pretty boat.

Lyman at first glance, but the edges are to sharp, boring shearline,
flat sides... no character. I wonder it that is a spray rail, or if
they went with a small planing deck, or a full Vee, Just don't know,
think the Lyman might handle better. NOTE, I don't know a lot about
big boats, just like to look at the lines.

Although, it does have the barrelback, gets points for that.

Ive seen restored ChrisCraft barrel backs go for less than that.

My friend has a 26 Lyman hardtop. As part of our annual Lake cruise we went
up to Leamington Canada together with us in our 32 foot Maxum and them in
their 26 foot Lyman. The weather turned nasty when we were planning to
leave with anywhere from 3-5 to 5-7 foot seas (quite nasty on Lake Erie)..
We planned to layover at the marina until the Lake calmed down but my friend
insisted on leaving. I was not about to let them cross the Lake alone with
these seas so we left with them, taking the lead with them closely following
behind us as we broke the waves for them. They would never had made it on
their own.

Lyman's are pretty and nice riding boats but they are not bullet proof and
require a lot of maintenance.....some of which is costly when dealing with
stringers and deck work.

Sure. Couldn't even get the Buick portholes right.
Eye of the beholder.
