I think it's psychological. If you are in a small boat in close proximity to a large flybridge powerboat, it is easy to imagine that the folks on the large boat are "looking down at you". They are of course, in a very real sense, but that does not by itself indicate disdain or disapproval. I've always been treated well by others when I was at the marina. Even the sail boat guys. |
