They are readily available and fairly inexpensive. A fiberglass Lyman (with the mold pulled off an actual hull), and with a mahogany interior (decks, seats, floorboards) would be nice. Those riveted clinker-built hulls of the original Lymans were a pain in the ass. Cruisers and Thompson bolted their hulls. Lymans had wonderful lines, though. |
