My Carver boat has twin Volvo Pentas with duo-prop outdrives. The trim
switches are not working well, though there is power to them. This has
four
switches in a row, up/down for port and starboard and then a separate
two-way toggle switch for the trim limit override.

Google has failed me as I can't seem to find a source for replacements.

Did talk to some of the local dealers, but ones says it is a Volvo Penta
switch, the other a Carver switch. Did email
Carver, nothing yet.

Anybody know a source?

I just did a quick search on Google and came up with a bunch of volvo
penta parts suppliers. I would think that the switches are part of
the drive system, so they are probably VP.

A lot of those suppliers have 800 numbers - might be worth while
giving them a call and asking them direct.

I have tested the power to each terminal, and that is OK. It is my
understanding that type of switch uses a cup as the lower contact point and
they do get corroded, but are not made to take apart and service.
