It was only a matter of time.

And it will get worse.
Al Gore won't like you for exposing this sort of thing. Watch CNN Headline
News on May 2nd at 7:00 pm.

For $25 you can get a tree planted in Harry's name by the Chesapeake Bay.
Now *that* is worthwhile carbon offsettlement!
If you get enough participants will it be named the "Harry Krause Rec.Boats
Forest?"
The Harry Krause Carbon Credit National Forest for Homeless Indigent
Critters. :)
If enough of youse guys want to send me $25 each, I'll buy a magnolia
grandiflora, plant it in the front yard, take a photo, and post it so
you can all see what you bought. Since I live right by Chesapeake Bay,
you can deal direct with me, avoid the middle man, and help prevent the
next Herring fundraising scam.

No credit, carbon or otherwise. Cash only. American.

I'd take Euros - worth more. :)

And you can spend them on eBay!

BTW, my kitchenette cabinets are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I
expect to see all of you with your hand tools sometime next week. I've
got my supervisor's hardhat all polished.

The last person you want showing up with tools in hand is me.

I can deal with metal. Despite the fact that I have a complete wood
shop, wood and I don't get along very well. :)

So much so that when I offered to redo the kitchen cabinets, Mrs. Wave
immediately called a local cabinet maker to do a rush job so I
wouldn't (1) end up in the hospital again with severed limbs/digits
and (2) return to the scene of the crime and do it again. :)

Demonstrating that we won't solve the problem by simply writing

On that, my friend, we totally agree.

Leagalize weed and half the country will grow lots of trees. And the
socialists will have plenty of tax money to give to George Soros, One
World, ELF, the Chinees military, and the rest of their campaign
contributors, which of course is what this whole global warming/carbon
credit scam is about anyway.

Out of sight, out of mind.

He is, but unfortunately other posters here on occasion will comment on
what he drools into this newsgroup, and I see albeit indirectly one of
his inanities.

Well, you can run the empty boxes to the dump, then.

Gosh, that's not what Al would have us believe, but I think we're finally
seeing a little more eye to eye on this subject.

That's not fair and you know it.

Lay off the charity thing - you are a much better person than that.

It's a low blow...but...
what if every poster in here continually came in harassing individuals by
name asking for donations to two or three of their favourite charities?
We all have one or two worthy causes that are special to us individually.

It's one thing to gently promote a charity, and it's quite another to
bring it up over and over and over and over.

During the holiday season, I suggest folks make a contribution to the
Salvation Army or something similar. I might mention that once or twice
here, not several times in every post every day...

Herring is obnoxious about his fund-raising.

He is also quite ****y to those who make a contribution. It is certainly
the last time I will donate to his daughter's team.

The three Hazeltones...nothing better to do than whine about me all day??

Next year, if my daughter is still able and willing to run, I'll again ask
for a donation. Several of you will do so, and I'll appreciate every one,
as will my daughter.

If that is too much for you, Donnie, Jimmy, and Harry, to bear, than
killfile me. Oh, I forgot, I'm already killfiled.

Chuckle....
