Spent the day running around on Lake Murray - man that lake has come up in level a lot - at least ten/twelve feet. Nice and cool outside at the moment - beautiful. To hell with the wife, I'm moving as soon as I can. :) Enjoy it and forget the snow. You can retire the 2 stage. Hah!! Want to hear the story about the ice storm in VA? We came down 81 through VA to 77 and I'm telling you, there were times when I thought I was going to lose the damn boat trailer. Fishtailing all over the place. And to top it all off, drivers in VA don't know what to do when it starts snowing. Morons. :) People are morons because they are bright enough to not live where they have to drive in snow 8 months of the year? I think it's the other way around. Ever the contrarian. And I think you are thinking of Alaska. New England only has snow three months of the year - possibly four. Ok, maybe five at the outside. :) |

I can tell you from personal experience that living on a boat really heightens your awareness of the need to head south after September, and arriving much before the end of June isn't a good thing either. |
