![]() "Don White" wrote in message ... Almost the same damage happened to my mini-van a few years ago. I was up at our Costco in an open area (industrial park) and paked pointing away from the wind. When I opened my door, a strong gust took it and slammed it open damaging both door and driver side fender. I had to travel 250 miles to a funeral so I forced the door open numerous times and made the damage worse. I had to pay the first *%$^ $500.00 to have it fixed. Fortunately, they made very robust door hinges in 1955. They aren't damaged, just misadjusted due to them sliding a little under the bolt heads. It was too darn cold to play with it the day it happened, so I just put the truck away until spring. Eisboch |
