I heard it on a cable TV nature channel program....a Florida wildlife
officer needed to capture a deer with barbed wire in it's head to be able to
remove it. Deer have tremendous strength in the leg and bucks can do
tremendous damage with their horns. They do not like to be captured and
penned.

If you want to prove it right or wrong then Google is your friend and go for
it.

In the end what difference does it make? ;-)
