Yes, and NASCAR does not race over a muddy field with 5 inches of
water in a ditch.

Any resemblance to real boating is purely coincidental.
That is just Sprint Boat racing. they also race up rivers.

I guess that's exciting.
Big engine, lots of HP and shallow water and white water. Not no poofy
smooth racetrack with carb plate restricted motors.

I used to do 160 mph in my B-prod SCCA Vette. Did not seem anyshere as fast
as 90 mph on water.


I hit 135 in my GTX at Talledega. Now that was a ride.

Although I agree with you - for some reason 50 mph on water feels like
100 on land.
