Also check with www.riverjetmagazine.com I think there are a couple of guys
who boat that area.

Not too long ago, I saw an interview on C-SPAN with an author that did
just that. It may be possible that there is information about his book
on their website. It sounded like a fascinating trip. He broke it up
into 2 separate trips if I remember correctly. Sorry, I don't remember
the title of the book. But you might be able to search for it on
Amazon.com or Google it, as well.

Sounds like the perfect setting for Chuck.

Thanks all. A little more information regarding my request. The area
planned would be downstream from Fort Benton and the concern is river
levels -- if I could expect a lot of water that would be too shallow for a
small outboard on a canoe. Jim H.
