'Diamond Jim' also has a day job helping with therapy for alzheimers patients. This dog has very similar markings and colour to my dog. Now I'm ****ed at the wife... my Bronson 'coulda been a contender'..! http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org...bis/index.html What a crock. Look at who judged Best in Show. It was preordained. There is no other sport that is more subjective than Dog Shows, and open to personal favorites and/or outright fraud. Not only is it extremely subject, but you have one judge who determines the winner. In other very subjective sports, such as Ice Skating and Gymnastics, you always have a large number of judges scoring the contestants. I doubt this will change, because that seems to be the way the dog owners prefer, or they would push for a change. I think your comment about "it was preordained", was a reference to the fact that the judge had owned and shown cocker spaniels as a youngster. |
