How many of us practice nav skills, review lights and rules and just generally keep you hand in while the boat is laid up for the winter? Does using the GPS in the wife's car count? If not, then I'll admit I don't spend a lot of time keeping my hand in navigating. Of course, as my boat is now on the Rappahannock River and will probably never get out of Chesapeake Bay, navigation skills don't have the priority they do for someone who 'sails the ocean blue'. -- ***** Have a super day! ***** John H |
