There are some ellipticals that have a built in video monitor/tv in the console. Quite frankly, when I am at the peak of the resistance curve, I am huffing and puffing and concentrating on getting through the workout. I do it all the time. There's a ledge on the bottom of the display panel designed to support a book, magazine, or newspaper in a comfortable position for reading. My hands/arms are swinging lightly at my sides and the overall body motion leaves the head fairly steady. There may be heavy breathing and lots of sweat but I prefer to concentrate on something else. -rick- |
