I used to cruise a '67 Chris Craft cavalier '27 foot'r. When I bought
it, it was already on the downhill slind, but I got a couple years fun out of it before the hull really started deteriorating quicker and costlier than I ccould or wanted to keep up with it. I presently have an '83 CC Scorpion 169 which is actually an 18 ft. runabout with a 3.0 mercruiser (chevy 4-cyl) and alpha 1 mercruiser drive. Its a fun little boat but the 3.0 is noisey(they all are) and its a bit cramped. But its fun!
