There were a couple of articles in the local paper with local people
praising this lady and the effect she had on the local artistic community.
Seems she had made quite a contribution here and many truly missed her.
It just seemed so tragic to me, because this woman could have stayed here
relatively safe & secure ..but wanted to go back to her homeland to try and
make it better. If you don't see the tragedy in this, I feel sorry for you.

about leaving the city at one time or another. Isn't it a tragedy when
those people die? Just think, if they had left Halifax, they would not
